[He sees it, eyes big as he takes it with both hands and just holds it.]

[ Inside is a lovely soft green jumper, a size too large. There's a lump in the middle of it. ]

[It is a lovely jumper. Though he can tell instantly it's too big and why. Still stuck on that...

He sees the lump though and purposefully blocks his Sight. Lifts up the jumper...?]

[ As he does, a small ring box drops out. ]

[Oh his eyes get big. Folding the sweater back on his lap and reaching for the box. He hears his heart in his ears.]

Martin...

[ Algric is bright red, of course. Hardly daring to watch Jonah's reaction. ]

It's - it's not much. Money being, you know. Still a bit of a problem, but ...

[ Inside is a simple but lovely wedding band. ]

[He stares down at it, awed and lovestruck. Reminded again of just how much this man anchors him to his humanity, bringing it out in the best of ways.]

When did you even go back?

Ah - a couple weeks ago?

Don't know how I missed that...

[A day he was focused, he was thinking elsewhere, to a tower looming in some other dimension.]

[ He reaches for Jonah's cheek? ]

[He leans into the touch before leaning up to kiss him softly.]

[ Good. Good. He returns it, soft and warm. ]

[It is. He pulls away, just to lean back in for another quick kiss.]

[ He laughs softly at that. ]

Mm. [He'll get the box and so gently and carefully take the ring from its place and. Tries it on.]

Does it have a match for you?

[ Oh. Martin draws in a breath, just. Warming on the spot, the Lonely washing out for a moment. ]

Not ... not yet. I have it on layaway though.

[It's a near perfect fit. But at that, he turns a deeper shade in his cheeks.]

We'll work on that, then.

That - that sounds wonderful, Jon.

[ He wraps an arm around him. ]

[It's such a simple thing, falling into him like this. Exactly where he wants to be. Jonah leans up to kiss him softly again, cradling his cheek with that ringed hand.]

[ Algric kisses him back happily, leaning him back against the couch now. Sorry folks, these two are gonna make out probably. ]

[One hundo percent gonna make out. It's their couch now.]

[ it's beginning to look a lot like kissmas ]

[He comes back around to Algric after sharing the two gifts he had and receiving surprisingly more than that himself? He looks a bit awed and pleased all the same. But he can't stop thumbing along that new ring.]

I think this has been the best use of a night for all of us.

[ Algric, in the meantime, is seated with an unassuming set of papers in his lap, looking a bit like he's been hit by a lorry. In a good way. ]
